Putting together the Olympic menu
For everyone not fortunate enough to get a ticket for the 2012 Olympics (and I fear there will be many of us) I've got a new marketing strapline for organisers LOCOG to promote: "Stuff the sport. Stuff yourself."
It's inspired by the announcement of the catering plans for the Games - "The largest peace-time catering operation in the world."
But we're not talking bully beef and beans here. Oh no. If they manage to deliver on the aspiration laid out in the catering plan, it'll be food critics, not just sports journalists blogging from Olympic Park.
Proprietors of the classic sports-stadium skanky sausage will be politely told to make way for a little fine dining alfresco.

I've been Radio 5 Live's Sports News and Olympics Correspondent since 1998. I'll be looking at the events behind the headlines in all sports but especially on the road to London 2012.
