It's a bit of an understatement to say that we have had a very poor start to the season.
The statistics of three games, three defeats, and one goal scored with five conceded doesn't make for good reading.

Well, I hope no-one took any of their betting tips from me last week.
I got both results wrong where Scotland and Annan were concerned, but on the upside, not only was I back in the 16-man squad, I even made the starting line-up.
It really is amazing how things can change so quickly in football. As little as five days ago I was wondering whether I would make another appearance for the club.
This morning I'm looking forward to a quarter-final cup tie in the Alba Challenge Cup after a last-minute win against East Stirlingshire the night before.

Well, I think that Saturday was probably the most disappointed I've been for a long, long time while I've been at Annan Athletic.
It's not very nice finding out that you're not in the squad of 16 players less than one hour before kick-off.

Well, I have to say, football aside, the boys had a really good weekend away in Inverness.
The club put us up in a fantastic hotel for the night. So fantastic, in fact, that I asked the chairman if he had booked the wrong one.
The facilities were great and the boys even managed to get a round of pitch and putt in before the game on Saturday morning.
