Inside Out February 22
On Monday's show we're featuring the wonderful portraits by Tyneside GP Nicholas Posner.
His hobby of twenty five years has earned him a place in the National Portrait Gallery. Quite a feat I'm sure you'll agree for a guy who carries a stethescope more often than a camera. If you fancy a sneaky preview of his skill then check out the gallery on BBC Tyne.
It's great to see Nicholas taking a portrait of my former BBC colleague Mike Neville for our film.
Below is a pic taken back in the day (I'm guessing mid 1990's) when I was part of Mike's Look North team.
Yep that's me on the very left with hair! Can you remember the other faces and ever wondered where are they now?
From Left to Right
Chris Jackson: well you know me.
Wendy Gibson: still does the occasional bulletin on Look North.
Tony Belmont: retired from the BBC - now a club crooner.
Paddy MacDee: graces the night time airwaves on BBC Newcastle and Tees.
Chris Eakin: now a newsreader on BBC News Channel.
Carol Malia: soon to return to Look North after maternity leave.
Mike Neville: enjoying his retirement on Tyneside.
If you like TV trivia then this site about Look North through the ages is fun.

Hi, I'm Chris Jackson - presenter of the North East & Cumbria's very own current affairs programme, Inside Out. Welcome to my blog where I'll reveal some behind-the-scenes goings-on and share my thoughts on the stories we cover.
