Firstly, the reason why I chose the band “Rizzle Kicks”, is because I thought they had the most talent out of the 3 choices, they were the most unique and they aren’t the same as usual pop stars these days. They have a lot of potential and I’m sure their career will go far. Their material is also very original, On my CD cover, I decided to put on the paint splats because in Rizzle Kicks interview, and I quote “oozing both talent and charm.”, so I thought it would’ve been a good idea to make something “ooze” out of the cover. I cut up pictures of Sylvester and Rizzle and swapped parts of them around, giving the album a good effect and it shows quite a resemblance between the pair. The colouring of the pictures is a contrast to each other – one is very bright, while the other is very dull. But this doesn’t match their personality! I feel that the pair are very bright. I also chose to type out “Rizzle Kicks” several times, with them overlapping each other and matching the colours to the paint splat to make it effective. I also chose a font that looks like paint dripping to make the effect of the words dripping down the cover.
