More than 30 students are taking part in the production of this flamboyant musical comedy, which follows the adventures of rock star Conrad Birdie and features classic songs, like "Put on a Happy Face" and "Baby, Talk to Me".

Head of Performing Arts, Martin Palfreyman said: "For many of the students involved, this is their second or third major production at Sandwell College.

"Being part of a production helps students develop discipline and training in both dance and drama.

"This will equip them to study on a higher-level course at University, or seek work within the entertainment industry."
