You'll be actively involved in the West Midlands' music scene, going to gigs and reporting on bands, taking photos, writing reports and even making videos.

You must be into all genres of music - from hip-hop to heavy metal; acoustic folk to jazz and punk.

Your will work will supply a variety of content for both BBC WM Introducing on the radio and the BBC Birmingham and Black Country websites.

Most of all though, we'd like you to come armed with ideas of your own on how you can benefit BBC WM.

So if you've got some spare time this summer and fancy being a BBC Blast reporter, apply online to join the new music revolution.

Please note: applicants must be aged over 18. Whilst we welcome all age groups, this programme has been designed with the 18-22 age range in mind.
