The Icelandic Traffic Badgers are arguably the most creatively named band to play in session on BBC WM Introducing.

They formed in 2004 (although rhythm guitarist Chris Taylor only joined recently) and have spent the last few years recording new material and gigging around the West Midlands.

They played at the Glastonbudget Festival in 2007 and popular tracks Cocaine Suicide and Hey Mary were recorded in Wolverhampton with producer Gavin Monaghan.

The four piece plan on going all the way to the top. Speaking on BBC WM Introducing, vocalist Kev Mantle said:

"We want to go all the way. We just love performing and doing what we're doing. We don’t want to be doing the jobs we are for the rest of our lives – we want to make it."

The Icelandic Traffic Badgers treated listeners to four of their best tracks: Cocaine Suicide; Only The Good Die Young; Run From The Sun and Bring It Home.
