The holidays are over - now it's back to the school work. But at least with this version of Shakespeare's 'The Tempest' they make it fun!

Shakespeare 4 Kidz, the award-winning British theatre company that specialises in exciting, fun-filled musical adaptations of the classic Shakespeare stories – is coming to the Grande Theatre with its brand new musical theatre adaptation of The Tempest.

Thy're performing the Bard's story in a music theatre style, blending the original Shakespeare with contemporary language.

The show is said to be entertaining as well as educational - meaning that children as young as eight can find Shakespeare understandable, enjoyable and fun.

Learning made fun

It's all about a storm, a shipwreck and an enchanted island! All under the magical spell of one man - Prospero, the former Duke of Milan.

Exiled 12 years earlier on a mystical Mediterranean island, Prospero has spent his time perfecting his magic art and planning revenge on his wicked brother and his followers who overthrew him.

When a powerful sea-tempest shipwrecks his former adversaries, they are tricked and tormented by Prospero's magic to hilarious effect.

Shakespeare 4 Kidz, The Tempest, is at the Grande Theatre, Wolverhampton on Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd February 2008.
