The Eagle Works is a dilapidated former mattress factory in Alexander Street, Wolverhampton. It’s been a base and haven for the Black Country’s modern artists for 22 years and is now more visible than ever. The recent demolition of buildings on the Raglan Street site in front of Eagle Works now allows a new view of the well known former factory. The artists that belong to the Eagle Works Artists' Group, in Alexander Street, have responded to the change in their surroundings with a new show – ‘Exposed’.  | | Part of the exhibition |
Their exhibition is a colourful mix of abstract conceptual, figurative paintings and sculpture. The contributing artists are: Jain McKay, Knighton Hosking, Jane O'Reilly, Gail Britt, Rosemary Terry, Derek Jones, Julie McNally-Hayes, Simon Francis, Sylbert Bolton, John Hampton, James Millichamp, Simon Harris and Kyla Dante.
