Olanna lives with her Grandad who believes she has superpowers.
Every day they appear in wonderful ways when she least expects it. Having superpowers makes her magic.
“Good morning Grandad,” said Olanna.
“Good morning my dear. How are you today?” said Grandad.
“I’m great!” Olanna beamed. “Today is a big day. I start my new school. It’s going to be full of superheroes just like me!” said Olanna.
“Grandad!” Olanna called out as she crunched on granola.
“I know what you put in my lunch bag using my super power smell,” Olanna said proudly.
“My favourite; Jollof rice, chicken suya and plantain!..
I smelled all the spices from way up in my room,” said Olanna.
“Correct, Olanna, your sense of smell is a superpower!” chuckled Grandad.
Olanna smiled. She loved her Grandad with all of her heart,… and hearing him talk about her superpowers made her feel extra special.
