Every story is different, filled with lots of adventures and exciting characters.
In a story, there is always a beginning, middle and end.
Hello, let's try telling a story together.
My puppets will help me with the story. I have used paper and pencils to make my puppet. The puppets can also be made out of socks or you can use your toys.
In a story, you first need to think about who will be in it. These are called characters. I picked a frog and a bird.
Then, think of a setting where your story takes place. I chose my favourite place - a park.
Next, think about what happens in your story. Your story will need a beginning, a middle and an end.
At the beginning of my story, the frog is flying a kite. "Woohoo!"
In the middle of my story, the kite gets stuck in a tree. "Oh no!"
At the end, the bird helps frog by knocking the kite free.
“There you go frog.”
“Thank you bird.”
And they fly the kite together. "Woohoo!" A happy ending.
Performing a story can be so much fun. You can be loud at the exciting parts or quiet at the scary parts.
And it’s also fun to give voices to your characters.
“That is fun.”
“I agree.”
Can you think of a story? Who will be in it? What will happen? And where will it take place? Think about your beginning, middle and end.
And then share your story with your friends or family. I bet they’ll really love it.
