Musical mayhem
Watch – Explore new musical words
The children are playing in a band. They are making some music, but will their performance be a hit or a miss?
Musical mayhem!
Inside of the classroom we see Jasper and Aria clattering, strumming, banging drums and blowing trumpets.
Woah woah woah. Enough plucking and blowing.
We’re going to make a song, but what kind shall we make?
jasper and Aria launch back into playing.
Hang on! let’s start with a booming beat, so we know what tempo or how fast to play.
Perfect, like a stompy dinosaur! How about a tune played on that keyboard.
That sounds quite sad and moody, how about some happy and bright notes.
The music changes to a brighter uplifting tune.
Now for a marvelous melody. That’s the catchy tune you can’t stop singing.
The teacher has the guitar.
Go on then. Let’s have something funky and twangy.
Jasper and Aria move closer to the teacher.
That’s sounding great! What an epic ensemble.
