Alliteration is when different words start with the same sound or letter. Listen to Cal and Bunny use alliteration to make lots of silly sentences.
Cal: OK Bunny. Are you ready for some alliteration?
Bunny: Really ready. What do I do?
Cal: Alliteration is when words start with the same sound. I’ll say a sound and you say words that begin with that sound.
Bunny: Right! I’m really really ready!
Cal: OK. Here’s your first sound. “G”.
Bunny: G, ga, ge, grrreedy… grass… grows… green?!
Cal: Greedy grass grows green! This is alliteration. Next sound. P!
Bunny: P, pa, pe, pppppurple… pigs… palace… popcorn! Oh, that didn’t make sense.
Cal: It doesn’t matter! Purple pigs palace popcorn! Just say whatever comes into your head. Your next sound is Y.
Bunny: Y, ya, ye, yyyyellow… yetis… yell… yuck.
Cal: Yellow yetis yell yuck.
Bunny: Haha. It’s fun making such silly sentences. You have a go Cal. B.
Cal: B, ba, be, bouncing… Bunny… blows… bubbles.
Bunny: Big bouncing Bunny blows bubbles.
Cal: Last alliteration Bunny! C.
Bunny: C, ca, ce, cccccool… Cal… cuddles… cats.
Cal: Cool Cal cuddles… best bud Bunny!
