Director: Hey Brody, you have to show interest if the conversation is going to work!
Buff McKenzie: Pass me a pistol!
Brody: I think you should have a sword!
Buff McKenzie: Well I want a pistol!
Brody: But a sword is loads better!
Director: It’s ok to disagree, but don’t let it become an argument!
Buff McKenzie: Where’s my pirate hat?
Brody: What time is lunch?
Director: Er…stay on topic Brody!

When you're having a conversation:
- Listen to what the other person is saying and show interest in what they are saying.
- Let them finish before responding.
- Ask relevant questions that start with 'how' or 'why'.
- It's OK to disagree, but don't let it become an argument.
