How do you make Chinese dumplings?

Ingredients:
For the dough
- 140g plain flour (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.miàn fěn)
- 125ml water (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.shuǐ)
For the filling
- finely chopped vegetables (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.shū cài) You could include:
- Spinach (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.bō cài)
- Spring onions (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.yáng cōng)
- Mushrooms (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.mó gu)
- Cabbage (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.bái cài)
- Carrots (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.hú luó bo)
- ½ tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cold water
- salt (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.yán) and pepper (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.hú jiāo)
Instructions:
Stir (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.jiǎo bàn) the water into the flour until mixed - add more water if the mixture seems dry. Knead this with your hands (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.shǒu), dusting with a little flour if sticky.
Put the dough in a bowl (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.wǎn), covered with a clean, damp towel, and let it rest.
After about twenty (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.èr shí) minutes, tear the dough into sixteen (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.shí liù) equal-sized pieces and flatten each into a round flat pancake.
Mix all of the filling ingredients in a large bowl.
Place (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.fang) some filling in the centre of each pancake and moisten the edges with water.
Fold the dough in half.
Pinch it together with your fingers (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.shǒu zhǐ).
Get an adult to bring a pan of water to the boil (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.zhǔ), add the dumplings and put on the lid, boiling them for three (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.sān) to four (Check your connection, refresh the page and try again.sì) minutes.
