It's really important to try our best to get on with other people.
Often the best way to do this is to try to treat other people how we would like to be treated ourselves!
In this video Pip and Declan learn all about how other people help them.

MUSIC
Pip comes over to Declan, carrying two cupcakes.
PIP: Hey Declan!
DECLAN: Ohh, cupcakes. One for you and one for me, right?
PIP: Ah ah ahah! Sorry Declan. These are for the lollipop lady.
DECLAN: Why would you be giving cupcakes to the lollipop lady?
PIP: Because, it’s her birthday, and I want to show her how much I care about her, the way she shows me that she cares for me, by helping me cross the road.
DING
NARRATOR: That’s really nice Pip, it’s good to show people how much they mean to you.
The narrator talks about people who help us while we see an animation of a lollipop lady helping someone cross the road, a doctor helping a sick person, a teacher teaching and a bus driver driving a bus.
NARRATOR: People help you everyday, for example, the lollipop lady helps you cross the road to get to school. The doctor helps you get well when you’re feeling sick. Your teacher helps you to learn about lots of new things. The bus driver helps you get to places you need to be.
DING
DECLAN: Wow! Lots of people do lots of different things for us. I feel bad for not having anything to give to the lollipop lady!
PIP: Declan, why don’t we both give the lollipop lady a cupcake, one each.
DECLAN: Thanks Pip, you’re the best!
Pip gives Declan one of the cupcakes.
MUSIC
PIP: Shall we go?
DECLAN: Yeah, let's go!
PIP: Okay.
How we behave when we are playing or working with other people makes a big difference to how everyone gets along.
