Edrycha ar y lluniau isod a gofyna’r cwestiwn: ‘Ydy hi’n heulog heddiw?’ ar gyfer pob llun. Wedyn, ateba'r cwestiwn yn llawn, gan ddefnyddio 'ydy' neu 'nac ydy'. Bydd yr ateb yn dibynnu ar y llun.

Activity 1

Sut mae’r tywydd heddiw? (How is the weather today?)

Ydy hi’n heulog? (Is it sunny?)

Read the sentences below about the weather. Then draw a picture of each one to show that you have understood the meaning of the sentence.

Example

Mae hi’n oer heddiw. (It is cold today.)

1. Mae hi’n gymylog. (It is cloudy)
2. Mae hi’n bwrw eira. (It is snowing)
3. Mae hi’n heulog. (It is sunny)
4. Mae hi’n niwlog. (It is foggy)
5. Mae hi’n bwrw glaw. (It is raining)

Activity 2

Look at the pictures below and ask the question: Sut mae’r tywydd heddiw? (How is the weather today?).

Write a sentence to answer the question for each image. Remember, the answers are in the pictures.

Example

Sut mae'r tywydd?

Mae hi’n oer heddiw. (It is cold today.)

Activity 3

Look at the pictures below and ask the question: 'Ydy hi’n heulog heddiw?' (Is it sunny today?) for each picture. Then answer the question in full using 'ydy' or 'nac ydy'. The answer will depend on the picture.

Example

'Ydy hi’n heulog heddiw?' (Is it sunny today?)

Nac ydy, dydy hi ddim yn heulog. Mae hi’n bwrw eira. (No, it is not sunny. It is snowing.)
