Dinosaurs may be extinct but you can still draw some brilliant dinosaur pictures.
Watch the video and learn how to draw a brachiosaurus!
Hi! Let’s try drawing a dinosaur.
Let’s draw a brachiosaurus.
First, try holding your pencil in a tripod grip or something that feels comfortable.
Then, in the middle of the page draw an oval which is like a stretched out circle.
This will be its body so make it big, but don’t use the whole page. Now, find a spot above and slightly to the side. Then draw a smaller oval for the head.
For the brachiosaurus' long neck, draw a bendy line from the head to the body. And another one next to it… here.
A brachiosaurus had a long tail too, so let’s draw that at the other end of the body. First, draw a curved line like this. Now draw another curved line that meets the first one right at the end of the tail.
Starting to look like a dinosaur, isn’t it?
Did you know a brachiosaurus was as tall as two double-decker buses? That’s so big!
Okay. Brachiosaurus had four legs so let’s draw those underneath the body. One. Two. Three. Four.
Let's add a little smile and an eye. That’s a brilliant brachiosaurus.
Yum!
Yours might look a little different from mine and that’s fine. Just like with people, every picture is different and that’s what makes it special.
