Wondering what life at primary school is like? Who better to tell you than Mikey and Tianna, as they show you around their own school from the coat pegs to the playground… Watch this with your child and introduce them to primary school life!
Mikey: Hi. My name's Mikey.
Tianna: My name's Tianna and welcome to our school.
Mikey: It's really fun being at school!
Tianna: Mikey, shall we go show them around?
Mikey: Yeah, come on then!
Mikey: This is our pegs where we hang our stuff up so they don't get lost.
Tianna: And this is my peg. And this is Mikey's peg, innit?
Mikey: Yes. You don't have to say 'innit' afterwards, Tianna.
Tianna: This is the classroom.
Mikey: There's lots of things to do in the classroom; painting…
Tianna: You can do reading…
Mikey: You can do maths…
Mikey: This is the outside area!
Tianna: I like playing in the kitchen because we can cook some stuff.
Mikey: I like the building area because you can build tall towers and it looks fun.
Mikey: And we can ride!
Mikey: This is the staffroom where they have their cups of tea and their biscuits.
Both: And this is the hall where we have our assemblies, our lunch, and PE.
Mikey: You can choose your lunch everyday. We have school dinners, meat and veggie, jacket potato, and salad bar.
Tianna: My favourite is salad bar, except for raisins and tomatoes.
Tianna: This is the playground!
Mikey: We like to come out here to play with our friends.
Tianna: I love skipping!
Mikey: And I like playing with the tubes and tyres. And we like running around!
Tianna: It's hometime!
Mikey: Thanks for coming to see us!
Both: Bye!
