Additional Processing of Personal Data
As a ‘special mention and commendation’ entry to The Regenerators the BBC would like to feature your child or group’s work on the Bitesize website to encourage other young people to take action to protect the planet.
If you are happy to do so, you can send photo of your child to be featured on the website. However, if you are not the parent/guardian you will need to obtain permission from them before you do this.
If you (or if you are a teacher, the parent/guardian) don’t want a photo of your child/the pupil to feature, you can instead send us an image that represents the work they do.
If you don’t wish to send us an image, we will use a generic The Regenerators graphic to illustrate their work.
The BBC will collect the personal data via an online platform used by the BBC.
When you contribute to the BBC, we may use your child or group’s contribution in our programmes or content, including online content. If we broadcast your child/group's contribution, this may include the programme being available online and/or on demand, and your contribution may be used again in a future broadcast. It may also include use on the BBC’s social media channels.
