ANNE: I describe my accent as middle-class Jamaican. [laughter]

INTERVIEWER: Do you think it ever changes?

ANNE: Yes. Umm the weird thing is that I speak English generally as my first language but when I get irritated or angry I speak pure Jamaican which is something that all Jamaicans well, most Jamaicans of my background do. We generally speak English with maybe some slang thrown in but get us angry and then you hear the real Jamaican come out.
