Grump Man
They're really quite miserable

Mission for the Morose

They're bitter and morose. The music is miserable. Have a sad and tearful night out with Grumpy Man.

Tears welcome at Grumpy Man

Grumpy Man specialises in bringing sad music to the masses. Grown men will cry and communal self-loathing will occur. Embrace the beauty of pain and sadness and do it the Grumpy Man way.

Miserablists

Grumpy Man sad song DJs will be playing tortured tracks from the world's great miserablists on Tuesday 3rd April 2007 at the Bulls Head Moseley.

Set list rumours include Cake's I Will Survive, Johnny Cash's I See A Darkness, Nick Cave's Disco 2000, and a medley of Love Will Tear Us Apart covers. Plus lots of Richard Hawley.

Sad Song Soundsystem

Sublime misery

Legendary glumster World Of Fox returns for a special DJ set alongside the usual mantra of bring your own misery - "bring us a CD" says Grumpy Man "and we'll stick it on the sad song soundsystem." A promise indeed. I almost cracked a smile at the thought which would surely be defeating the object.

Emo kids haven't got a patch on this lot. This is emotional devastation at its best. Prepare to meet impending doom, you might just enjoy it!

Stay miserable!
