Whether you think of yourself as spiritual or deeply into your religion or just that there’s something bigger than you in control, faith seems to touch pretty much everyone. Up 'til now you haven't really seen people’s real stories about what their faith means to them on telly, though you know your BBC websites have been doing it for ages… Now it’s time to make that change! I'm Marsha Ramroop, the Faith Producer for BBC Local TV in Birmingham and the Black Country and my job is to lend out my cameras, teach people how to use them and let them go off to film their own TV feature about their faith. We edit together so contributors have a say in what stays in and what gets left on the cutting room floor! If you want to get involved give me a call on 0121 567 6035 and we can hook up! Below are some of the films that have been made. Yours could appear here too as well as on Local TV.
