Name: Michael Davis Team: West Bromwich Albion Fan since: I have been a fan since I was six, when I went to watch my first match which was at Wembley against Port Vale in the (old) 2nd division play-off final. Albion won it 3-0! Sum up the previous season: Three words can sum up last season 'The Great Escape'. It was unbelievable the way in which we avoided relegation and I don't think that even now it has properly sunk in. I don't think that any fan could moan at were we finished last year, were all just grateful were still in the Premiership. How will we fare this season: Looking at the signings that Bryan Robson has made during the summer and that little bit more depth that’s been added to our squad now, I'm confident that we can avoid relegation and would be happy if we finished seventeenth again. Would like to be safe before the final day of the season though, don't think I could go through all that again. Best player: Zoltan Gera, can change a game in an instant. Worst player: Ricardo Scimeca, I've never seen him have a good game in an Albion shirt. Best game ever seen: Beating Pompey 2-0 to avoid relegation at the end of last season. Not the prettiest match but probably the most important in our history. Worst game ever seen: Either losing 5-1 to Crewe at the Hawthorns, the day that Fabian De'freitas got the kick off time wrong and didn't turn up. Or losing 5-0 to Liverpool on Boxing Day, it was bad enough being a 6pm kick off. Best ever atmosphere: when we beat Crystal Palace to get promoted in the 2001/02 season. Everywhere was buzzing and when the full time whistle went all you could see was a sea of blue and white. Is Robson the right man to lead the club: Yes he is and he showed that last year by proving everyone wrong, hopefully he can turn the club into something big again. What makes you most proud of your club: We have by far the best set of supporters in the world and we never fail to support our team through thick and thin.
