Benjamin Mendy is not the hero we deserved, but he is the one we need.
Since joining Manchester City from Monaco in the summer, he has quickly become a cult figure.
Sadly, his appearances on the pitch have been limited by a cruciate ligament injury to his knee that’s seen the defender left-back in the changing rooms for what could be seven months…
He's tweeted about a new innovation that could hopefully see him on the mend(y) though…
