Day five or day jive? Rio certainly seems to be dialling up the dancing action. Kazakhstani weightlifter Nijat Rahimov busted out a few moves after winning gold. Then a spectator in the tennis stands caught the dance fever with antics worthy of Anton Du Beke… to the embarrassment of the poor woman sitting next to him.

With a population of around just 880,000, Fiji has won its first ever gold medal, in Rugby Sevens. No wonder the place has gone a bit nuts. A national holiday was immediately declared and apparently there’s mass dancing in the streets.

Anyone know how much first-class flights to Fiji are? Asking for a friend…

An American commentator suffered every broadcaster’s worst nightmare when he mixed up Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte in the 200 individual medley race. Thinking he was reporting on an historic win, Elliotte Friedman yelled Lochte to his supposedly triumphant finish. Only to realise Phelps had won, as expected… we hope he’s not in a Lochte trouble!
