Whether you’ve never moved out or are a 'boomerang kid’ who has returned to the family home after years away, if you still live with your parents you’re not alone. In the UK, it’s estimated that one in four 20-34 year-olds live with their parents, external.
For many, the reason will be purely down to the fact they can’t cope with the cost of housing, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a few benefits of living at home while you save – like having your parents iron your undies or enjoying the delights of a well-stocked fridge.
We spoke to eight young lads and ladies who are living with their parents about the benefits and drawbacks.
