The bizarre Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang stat that makes defences weak

The Arsenal striker completed a seven-day special
We’re just days away from the close of the January transfer window, but even away from that deadline drama, there was no shortage of shenanigans going on in football over the weekend.
Among the action was the FA Cup showing some of its old magic - there's now just five Premier League teams guaranteed to be in the fifth round. But the oldest national cup competition in the world wasn't providing all the action this weekend. There were of course games a plenty in Scotland, while the Championship also provided some memorable tweets.
1) Won't you stay another day?
You are manager of Chelsea FC and one of your club's biggest prospects wants out. He also scores a wonder goal for your team helping to beat Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup. So what can you do to convince him to stay with his boyhood club?
Sing to him.

We'll have to wait and see if Sarri's dulcet tones were enough to convince him to refuse Bayern Munich's advances.
2) What’s your greatest weekness?
It’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s one year anniversary at Arsenal this week, but it’s another unit of measurement he got noticed for when he scored against Manchester United on Friday.
That’s right, the Gabon striker has bagged a seven day special this season.

Of course, we probably should have seen it coming, considering how prolific he has been on tournament debuts since arriving in north London.

3) Calendar boys
While Aubameyang has been busy filling up his calendar, there’s someone at Hibernian wishing they had a chance to re-do theirs.
It appears that the official Hibs calendar for 2019 is already horribly out of date just four weeks into the new year.

Not that the folks at St Mirren fared much better…
4) O brother, where art thou playing?
Kevin Prince-Boateng’s move from Sassuolo to Barcelona is undoubtedly the strangest deal of this January transfer window.
It’s just the latest step in a bizarre career which has seen the Ghanaian playing against his own brother in a World Cup game when he took on Jerome’s Germany side in 2010.
Younger brother Jerome is still plying his trade at Bayern Munich, but unfortunately for the Boatengs there are not the first fraternal duo to hold that distinction. In fact, they’re not the only ones to currently boast that.

In case you were wondering, Thiago and Rafinha play for Spain and Brazil respectively, though Rafinha is currently on loan at Inter Milan.
And no, we’re not talking about the other Rafinha who plays with Thiago at Bayern. Try to keep up.
5) Spurs’ cup nightmare
It wasn’t a great week for Spurs, who saw their hopes of finally winning a trophy under Mauricio Pochettino dealt a double blow as they were beaten by Chelsea in the EFL Cup and Crystal Palace in the FA Cup.
Such is the cruel reality of sport, former Arsenal winger Kevin Campbell couldn’t help but point out the differing fortunes between Pochettino’s time in London and that of new Chelsea striker Gonzalo Higuain.

6) Vinnie Jones is still peak Vinnie Jones
As a member of the old Wimbledon's ‘Crazy Gang’ Vinnie Jones was there to offer his opinion on the ‘new’ AFC Wimbledon as they took on West Ham.
So how did he know the Premier League team were there for the taking? Had he crunched the numbers? Looked at their stats or indeed that of their League One opposition?

Well, he still called it.
7) Wish you were here
What’s the best way to show fans of your new team just how excited you are to join them? By spelling their name wrong and uploading a blurry photo of you disinterestedly holding their jersey, naturally!

Of course, Scottish football has a proud tradition of players signing photos that look like they could be the thumbnails for a video of a hostage assuring their parents they are being treated well by their captors.

8) Breaking the Molde
No one really expected much of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United after replacing Jose Mourinho until the end of the season. Norwegian club Molde were kind enough to loan their manager out to the Red Devils safe in the knowledge that in May they would get him back.
Pochettino had been declared Man United manager in waiting by most, with Solskjaer just a short-term stop-gap.
But after eight straight wins to start his reign, the narrative is starting to change and the calls to keep Solskjaer in Manchester are getting stronger by the day, potentially leaving Molde - and Pochettino - in an awkward position.

9) Newcastle doing Newcastle things
Newcastle United fans were cautiously optimistic at the news that they were going to sign Jordan Lukaku - younger brother of Man United striker Romelu - on loan for the rest of the season.
His arrival would be a sign of a bit of ambition and a new signing for Rafael Benitez to play with. But then he failed his medical, leaving the Magpies back where they started.
But hey, at least Jordan got to see his brother in action in the FA Cup.

10) United nations
Is there any better visual representation of the diversity of English football than Queens Park Rangers’ squad list?
11) Quit while they’re ahead
It was a tough day at the office for Berwick Rangers as they had a man sent off and were hammered 7-1 by Queens Park in their Scottish League Two clash on Saturday.
Whoever was running Berwick’s social media did not take the defeat well.
