Ronak Mashru is both a stand-up comic and a talented actor who has performed at the The Royal Albert Hall and now, even more excitingly, the Drill Hall for Spanking New On 7.
One of the Isle of Wight's funniest exports, Marek Larwood began his career performing in fringe shows, such as the NewsRevue, and appeared in short films before turning to stand up comedy. He was a runner up in this year's Leicester Mercury New Comedian of the Year Competition and is the Laughing Horse New Act of 2003.
Rhod Gilbert has scooped numerous awards in 2003, including the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year and the Paramount Gift of the Gab competiton. He will be performing in the show Three Men and a Giant at this month's Edinburgh Fringe whilst also appearing as one of Hackney Empire's New Acts of the Year at the Guilded Balloon Caves.
Stefano Paolini is a talented impressionist who speaks fluent Italian. He was the runner-up in the 2001 So You Think You're Funny? competition and matched this success at the BBC New Comedy Awards, 2002. Prior to his debut BBC 7 performance he voiced a variety of characters in BBC Radio 1's Dreem Team Christmas Panto.
