Spanking New Show 5: 4 August 2003 @ 11 pm

Andy White is the only person to perform on Spanking New with an afro. He's also from Brimingham and the two facts might not be unrelated.

Jarred Christmas reach the finals of both the BBC New Comedy awards and the Daily Telegraph Open Mic competition in 2001, and has hosted a radio music show in his native New Zealand. Jarred is the hairiest man we had on the show.

Paul Kerensa will be familiar to radio listeners through his writing for Parsons and Naylor ..., The News Huddlines, and Dead Ringers. He won ITV's Take The Mic competition in 2002 - the same year, he reached the finals of the BBC New Comedy awards and the Daily Telegraph Open Mic competition.

Sarah Kendall won the New South Wales final of the Melbourne Comedy Festival's Raw Comedy competition in 1998. This year she performs Navel Gazing at the Edinburgh Festival - following on from 2002's Sarah Kendall Is Well-Balanced and 2001's War.
