Janet Meredith started her comedy career in her native Australia. She won ABC television's prestigious comedy talent search, which led to a slot at the Edinburgh festival, and she now lives and performs in Britain.
Chris Corcoran has been a stand-up for less than a year. He is currently voicing an animated bear in CBBCs hit animated show Nelly Nut.
Natalie Haynes was nominated for Perrier best newcomer for Six Degrees of Desolation. She will be taking her 2003 show Troubled Enough to the Pleasance in Edinburgh.
Howard Read is an animator as well as a stand-up, writer and performer of marvellous songs about vegetables. His Polar Bears in a Snowstorm won the BBC New Comedy award for animation. He will be taking The Big Howard and Little Howard Show to the Pleasance in Edinburgh.
