At the Pumpworks, Jodie’s on the phone discussing putting the restaurant on the market. Meanwhile, Kamla’s waiting for Rita. Kamla tells Roopa that Jodie and Sway will never be happy because of what they did to Nadia and Kuljit. Roopa tells her grandma not to judge, she doesn’t know all the details. On her way to meet Kamla, Rita gets an important phone call, and tells the caller she has a proposal. At the café, Rita warns Roopa that if she wants her dad to get the restaurant, she best keep her ears open to find out if Jodie is discussing any rival offers.
