Shirley is on the phone to her daughter Sarah, giving some advice about looking after Gramps. Sway returns with ingredients for dinner, and a bottle of sherry for Shirley, who’s been complaining about the cold house!
Elsewhere, Jaggy tries to explain his actions to Simran. But Simran is straight on to packing her things. Jaggy mentions Darren got him started at poker. Simran tells Jaggy she can’t stay with him in light of recent events. Jaggy later gets a call from Darren and fills him in. He sarcastically tells Darren he’s taken his advice and told Sim the truth. Now he really HAS lost everything.
As Jodie prepares dinner, Shirley mentions that she will see Kuljit tomorrow and talk some sense in to him. Sway begs Shirley not to. Sway just wants to make a new start. Shirley is also going to drop in on Nadia; someone has to look after her, and she was practically Shirley’s daughter-in-law for a long time. As they sit down to dinner, they’re interrupted by a pizza delivery… but no one ordered it. When the door goes again later, Jodie goes to confront the delivery guy but finds Simran standing on her doorstep, with Kesar and a packed suit case….
