Have your say
After the shock of Sway’s scuffle with Zak, Jodie and Sway are consoled with a drink by Mary. Meanwhile, Imran escorts Deepika home, and she demands a kiss on the way. Mary speculates that Deepika may be a bit of a man eater, but admits that overall she’s not so bad. In the morning, Imran wakes Deepika, who passed out on his couch. Imran offers breakfast, but Deepika has an appointment with a tai chi contact for the Parkside. She thanks Imran for getting her home ok, and insists she never usually drinks so much.
Sway and Jodie give the barge a clean, in readiness for letting it. They laugh as Sway gets covered in soot from the chimney. Deepika pays them a quick visit, still promoting the new set of events at the Parkside. Jodie clarifies her name one last time. As she goes, Deepika notices an incriminating black print on “Judy’s” bottom!
Zak tells Imran he feels foolish for letting everyone know about Nadia. Everything is better in Scotland, but Zak feels responsible for his sister. Imran tells Zak he has to leave Nadia to get on with her life. Nadia’s upset with Zak for telling everyone about her suicide attempt. And she wanted to deal with Sway’s stuff herself. What if she’d thrown away Fatima’s locket? Zak says that’s totally different. Later on, Zak gives Nadia the locket. It contains an Aiyatul Kursee, to keep Nadia safe. Zak fears Nadia will harm herself again if he goes, but she swears on the Koran that she won’t try anything again. As Zak comes to terms with leaving, Nadia says she has lots planned for Silverhill.
