At the café, Sway’s pleased to hear from Imran that Nadia is ok. Jodie thanks Imran for sticking by Sway. Imran’s not taking sides though, and Sway remembers that Kuljit is staying at Imran’s. Imran points out that more of Deepika’s posters have disappeared, along the canal this time. He’s interested when Jodie mentions that Kamla and her fellow OAPs have been her only recent diners. Sway worries people are boycotting the café over what happened to Nadia. Sway speaks to Shirley on the phone. She has been grilling Sarah about the ins and outs of an overdose, but Sway manages to convince Shirley that Nadia’s ok.
At the newsagent, Mary refuses to put one of Deepika’s flyers in her window. Deepika and Mary come face to face again later, as Mary covers for Imran at the store. Deepika practices her best pout and gets Imran to put her poster in his window. Imran thinks Deepika’s slogan is a bit confrontational. Imran has an idea who Deepika’s culprits are, and Mary might be the only person who can stop them.
Zak tells Nadia about his time at the mosque. He told a few mates there that Nadia was ok after her ‘fall’. Zak reminds Nadia to see Dr Hassan and apologises for losing his temper yesterday. Nadia says she is determined to stay around. If she leaves, Sway will have taken everything. Nadia suggests Zak catches up with Arun and Sean. They’ll be pleased to see him. But Zak says not now. He finds a box of Sway’s stuff out the back. Imran says they mustn’t rush Nadia to move on.
