Mary complains to Sway that the paperboy hasn’t shown up again. She has to do the rounds herself! Mary says what happened with Nadia is none of her business, but she hopes Sway and Jodie know what they’re doing. Deepika later confronts Mary about the disappearance of her ‘big event’ leaflets. Deepika saw Mary trailing her when she was putting them up. As things get more heated, Imran has to intervene.
Zak’s busy cleaning the windows at Jilani Fashions. Nadia suggests Zak gets outside and pays Arun or Sean a visit. But Zak says he’s enjoying spending time with his sis. And Nadia seems to be coping well. Nadia feels positive about the opportunities that will come up after her Pakistan trip. Zak wants to know that Nadia will be ok after he’s gone though. Sway’s belongings are still lingering in the flat. Nadia says she’ll get rid of them.
Later, Imran suggests Nadia takes some time off to enjoy the New Year with Zak. Nadia says she has too much to do. She’s waiting for samples from Lahore, and bursting with excitement to see her designs come to life. Zak manages to get Nadia to leave the shop for today though, and borrows Imran’s delivery van. Zak takes Nadia to an old beauty spot they visited as kids. Nadia remembers her Abba and notices Zak fiddling with a locket, forgetting it belonged to Fatima. Zak becomes angry with Nadia, saying that suicide goes against everything they believe. What will their parents say? Zak says there’s nothing left for them in Silverhill. They should start again in Scotland.
