Deepika’s spending the bank holiday working at the Parkside. She gets Imran to help measure up for a new banner. There’s a big event coming up, with new activities and a questionnaire planned. Imran says Deepika may not get the answers she’s hoping for. He tells Deepika she’s a bit scary, which she takes as a compliment. Deepika notices that Nadia’s back from hospital. Her fall must have been nasty, to keep her in for so long.
Sway’s nervous as he and Jodie walk by the canal. Jodie says what happened to Nadia is not their fault. They have to start living, otherwise what has it all been for? Jodie notices the barge needs a spruce up. They think about what they’ve left behind to be together. Jodie worries that Sway has to throw away his music career and dreams. Sway says he has no regrets. They bump into Deepika, who asks what the action is like at the Crown for new year.
Nadia’s grateful to Zak for looking after her, but says she doesn’t need babysitting. Nadia worries that people won’t believe she tripped. Zak’s pleased Imran phoned Sway. That way, Sway can see the damage he’s caused. Nadia ignores the phone – it’ll be Rita. But Zak picks it up. Nadia apologises to Imran, but Imran’s just relieved he arrived in time. Imran assures Nadia that people are just concerned. Dr Hassan will check on Nadia later. Nadia shocks Imran and Zak by saying she plans to be back at work in the morning.
