Zak races to see Nadia in hospital. Imran tells him Nadia took an overdose of paracetomol. It’s all out of her system but she’s still unconscious and they’re not sure if any liver damage has been caused. Zak should have been there and feels guilty.
In the van, Sway knows that Kuljit blames him for Nadia trying to take her life. Kuljit thinks they should just focus on Nadia and even if a part of him wants to forgive Sway, he doesn’t know how he can.
Zak’s been told Nadia will be ok. Zak blames himself, he should have been there for her and what if Imran hadn’t got to her on time? He’s also angry that Nadia chose such a selfish act and how could she have so little respect for herself? Imran says maybe she didn’t feel she had a way out. Zak still blames Sway.
Kuljit’s at the service station getting coffee whilst Sway tells Jodie the bad news. Kuljit arrives with coffee and mince pies. Sway finds it funny that they always end up spending Christmas together. Kuljit says this will be the last time; he’s with him now because it’s the right thing to do. When they get to hospital, Kuljit leaves Sway at the hospital doors. Sway is scared to do this alone but Kuljit tells him he has to handle this on his own.
Imran tries to convince Zak to go home with him, Nadia is stable and needs to rest but Zak isn’t going anywhere. He sees Sway coming towards them and goes ballistic blaming Sway for everything. Imran has to drag Zak away and tells Sway to go. Zak is determined to make Sway pay for what he’s done.
