Sway’s on the phone to Shirley who wants to know if he’ll be coming for Christmas. Sway’s saved by the bell telling Shirley he’ll let her know soon. It’s Nadia at the door wanting to talk; she’s seen Jodie leave the house.
The poker game is getting intense. Darren pulls out as Cyrus reminds Jaggy they’re dealing with thousands here. A confident Jaggy is fully aware of what they’re dealing with but seems a bit surprised when someone mentions thirteen grand! Darren reminds Jaggy that these players will make that money up in a couple of days and tells Jaggy not to be stupid. Jaggy ups the stakes to fifteen thousand and refuses to listen to Darren who say he’s being stupid.
Nadia gives Sway the watch that she got him for his birthday but he says he only wore it on special occasions. Nadia begs him, what does she need to do to change his mind, shall she cut all ties with her family because she’ll do anything for him. Sway says their relationship was the problem, he deserves better and he he’s with Jodie now so that’s it.
Darren attempts to interrupt the flow of the game by saying maybe they should go clubbing but Cyrus and Jaggy are into their game as the stakes get higher. At twenty thousand, Cyrus thinks he’s won but Jaggy does one better and has a straight flush. Darren can’t believe it and tells Jaggy he’s not putting his heart through that again but Jaggy thinks this is just the beginning.
As Sway gets Nadia to leave, Jodie walks in, Nadia asks her if she’s in for the long haul or not? Jodie doesn’t reply but after she’s gone, Sway reckons the worst is over.
