Arun is making himself at home in the studio and is telling Roopa of all of his ambitious plans until Kuljit walks in a little earlier than expected. Arun reassures him everything will be fine but Kuljit doesn’t want a mother figure, he just wants Arun to get on with his work.
Meanwhile, Shazia is enjoying a relaxing morning at home with Hassan. She is looking forward to quitting as an MP but Hassan just wishes she had discussed it with him first. He was too busy but she wants to know why he just can’t be happy for her? Later, Hassan finds Kuljit packing his things because they need their privacy. Dr Hassan confides in Kuljit saying he fears Shazia may resent him for her new career decision but Kuljit reassures him, she must have made the decision for both of them to be happy together. Hassan suggests Kuljit moves in with Imran who’s looking for a lodger.
Elsewhere, Sway is with Jodie at Nadia’s place. He is packing. They have no regrets on what they’ve done but they will regret the way Kuljit found out for the rest of their lives. Sway insists Nadia will not find out from others, the minute she lands, he will tell her face to face. Sway’s halted in his tracks though when he checks his answerphone. It’s Nadia and she’s got great news, she’s managed to get an earlier flight home.
