Arun takes Kuljit to Dr Hassan’s surgery for his injured hand. Later, sensing that things were wrong, Hassan checks on Kuljit at the studio and realises he will be sleeping there. Kuljit tells the Doc that he has nowhere else to go.
Meanwhile, at the café, Roopa helps Jodie clear up the debris and Sway heads to the recording studio to see Kuljit. Kuljit is not interested in anything he has to say, he hands over a tool box with Sway’s belongings and fires him. Kuljit offers Arun Sway’s job and tells him to start straightaway, he needs to get away for a while.
Jodie hears from Arun that Kuljit has sacked Sway. When she catches up with him, she tells Sway that she won’t be claiming insurance on the damage to the café, she can live with that but living with what they’ve done to Kuljit, will be harder.
At the Masud house, Shazia arrives home in a flirty mood. When she sees Kuljit on the sofa, Hassan tells her he’s putting Kuljit up for a few days. Shazia doesn’t mind, they have plenty of time together, she’s resigned and will be standing down at the next election.
