Dr Hassan has breakfast alone at the café as Shazia’s in London. She rings him later to say she’s having to stay over as well and is missing him, maybe she needs to stop putting her career first.
At the Pumpworks, Jodie tells Sway she’s tired of hiding and pretending, but most of all of lying. They can’t wait for Nadia’s return, they must tell Kuljit now. Besides, Shirley keeps ringing wanting to know which of them will be spending Christmas in London. Sway decides that he and Jodie need to tell Kuljit together but when they get to the studio, they can’t find him. They don’t notice him under the desk. Sway starts to lose his nerve, when his phone rings. It’s Shirley, again. Sway goes to find Kuljit.
Meanwhile, Kuljit’s struggling to fix a new sound system in the cubicle on his own. He sends Arun to grab a toolbox from Sway’s flat. When Arun returns, Kuljit has given up. He has more important things to fix. Kuljit says he has overheard Sway and Jodie talking about him. He knows something is up and he’s going to find out what it is.
