Shazia’s running late for work, with no time to eat Hassan’s lovingly prepared breakfast. Later, she has to get him to pick Dr Masud up from the Parkside for her which means he can no longer meet Pradeep.
Meanwhile, Roopa’s making the café look festive. Jodie tells Sway she wants a tall, dark and handsome man for Christmas. Sway promises Jodie she’ll get what she wants. He’s going to tell Kuljit about them today.
Over at the studio, Sway tries to collar Kuljit for a word, but Kuls is too busy preparing for the next band. Kuljit thinks he knows what Sway’s going to say anyway. He tells Sway it’s fine to take time off when Nadia returns. Sway wants a proper chat though, and they agree to meet for lunch. They find a dingy pub, and Sway softens Kuljit up by reminiscing about past drinking sessions. As Sway is about to tell Kuljit everything, Kuljit gets a text. He needs to get back to the studio. Their chat will have to wait.
Back at the café, Sway tells Jodie he couldn’t go through with it. He needs to tell Nadia first anyway. But Jodie doesn’t want to keep Kuljit in the dark any longer either.
