At the Pump Works, Zenab admits to Jodie she’s lonely at home without Mushtaq. It’s especially bad in the evenings. At least Zenab has the shop to keep her busy while Nadia’s away. Jodie reassures Zenab that she’ll have her family around her for Eid. Jodie reveals she has spoken to Chunky since his date. It didn’t go well. She ran out when he went to use the rest room. Later, Bibi pops round to see Zenab, who is unusually happy to have the company. Bibi mentions that Chunky seems out of sorts, but Zenab keeps her knowledge to herself.
Elsewhere, jaggy is on his way to the Crown to see some old friends. Jaggy admits to Sway he misses life in Silverhill. Sway jokes that he’d swap for Jaggy’s Heatherton Wood home any time. Sway admits he’s missing Nadia. Jaggy says he enjoys some alone time, but always misses Simran after a day or two when she’s away at her parents’. Sway admires Jaggy for having such a happy marriage.
Sway and Nadia have an awkward phone catch up. Nadia says she’ll check out flights home once Eid’s over. Sway feels hurt when he over hears Nadia telling her uncle she’s on the phone to a cousin. Why does she have to lie? Reality hits Sway, and he goes to see Jodie. Decision made.
