Vinnie and the ladies have followed Deepika and Alex to the pub to spy on them. None of them realises Jungli is also there with Maxine. Vinnie wants to keep a close eye on Deepika. He tells Roopa they should know exactly what she has planned for the minibus they’re about to win for the Parkside. Roopa can’t see why Vinnie is interested in Deepika. She’s way out of his league. Vinnie asks Roopa if she thinks Jas was too smart for him too. Roopa says he’s so easy to wind up. Mary speculates that maybe Deepika is making a fresh start after marrying young. Bibi thinks she’s probably been disowned by her family.
Bibi defends Jungli. He must have been kept away for an important reason. But she wonders why he wouldn’t tell his mother. Suddenly, Bibi sees Jungli - with some ‘Gora girl’. Bibi clouts Jungli and orders Maxine away, as Jungli tries to explain himself. Jungli tries to go after Maxine, but she’s gone. During the commotion, Deepika and Alex slip away together.
In their hotel room, Mary talks to Bibi about Maxine and Jungli. Bibi recognised Maxine as the girl who used to lead Jungli on at school. Mary says she didn’t look so bad. And Jungli clearly likes her. Bibi vows to get both of her sons married. They’ll have good Muslim girls from good Muslim families, even if it kills her!
