Have your say
Roopa still hates being stuck at home and out of work. As they fight over the bathroom, Krishan tells Roopa they need to establish a few ground rules. Meanwhile, Rita’s delighted to hear that Jas’s New York internship has been extended for 6 months. Rita also probes Jas about her social life. Does she have a boyfriend yet? Krishan points out that Jas is moving up the career ladder. What’s Roopa doing? After a chat about her future, Roopa says she might have something lined up. She’s just waiting for the phone to ring!
Kuljit gets Vinnie to fetch his coffee at the Pump Works. Is Kuljit being lazy or avoiding Jodie? Deepika, the new Parkside manager, mentions she’s organising the bonfire night at the centre. She tells Jodie she needs something to get her adrenaline pumping, and asks Vinnie for help. Deepika and Jodie don’t get off to the best of starts, as Deepika criticises the previous Parkside manager. She doesn’t realise it was Jodie’s dad. And she can’t seem to get Jodie’s name right either.
Over at the studio, Kuljit tells Vinnie it’s all over with Jodie. Vinnie’s shocked. He offers to put a word in with Jodie, but Kuljit insists he’s fine. In fact, this is his chance to concentrate on the business. There’s a big name coming to the studio next week. Time to pull out all the stops!
