At the café, Bina encourages Roopa not to accept Jodie’s offer– she’ll be miserable. Then Bina’s phone rings. It’s another client- Ker-ching! Bina persuades Roopa to take her phone for tonight, just to see how she gets on.
Kuljit’s picking up dinner from Saffron’s, for his night in with Jodie. When Bina and Roopa reappear, Vinnie points out they’ve been gone ages. Bina and Roopa head back to the sheesha lounge and Krishan reveals his handiwork. He’s painted a giant lounge lizard on one of the walls! When Vinnie sees it he’s furious and orders the three of them out. Krishan later returns to apologise and Vinnie says it’s actually not that bad. Maybe they can make something out of it. With a bit of help, Krishan turns it into something rather impressive, complete with lizard smoking a sheesha pipe!
Later, Jodie arrives home as Kuljit heats up dinner. At least he’s cooking the rice himself! They share a brief kiss before Jodie takes herself off to get changed. As they relax, Kuls drops hints he’d like to move things upstairs, but Jodie’s not feeling so keen. As Kuls puts on some romantic music and pours more wine, Jodie tells him they need to talk…
