Have your say
Outside the Crown, Mary steps out of her taxi and is greeted by Brian. She’s dropped Bill off at the park to stretch his legs. Brian has given Sean the morning off for all his hard work. Mary sings Sean’s praises once again. Sean’s actually nursing a hangover, after yesterday’s drinking session with Vinnie and Roopa.
At the Pump works, a delicate Vinnie tells Sean he’s had it out with Jodie. He wants more responsibility at the restaurant. Vinnie asks Sean if he’d be happier moving away, or here in Silver Hill with family and friends?
Outside the pub later on, Vinnie thanks Mary for calling Mani to say goodbye. Mary asks Vinnie how he’s coping at Saffron Ray’s. Vinnie says he’d be better off if Mani had taken Jodie with him!
When they finally catch up, Mary gives Sean a big hug, and a Sombrero to say thanks. Mary commiserates Sean on his bad news, and Sean rushes off to change a barrel.
Brian later finds Sean in the cellar. He’s avoiding the all-important chat with his Gran. Sean says he fears turning into Jai, but Brian points out he’s nothing like his father. Brian reminds Sean he has several other options. There’s India, Goa, Kerala…or his own place in Spain! Sean says maybe he’ll stick around for a bit. He and Vinnie can compete for the new Park side manager’s attention. But Brian warns Sean it might be a three horse race… there’s life in the old dog yet!
