Sway’s at the pub, avoiding being at home with Kuljit and his blokey, immature ways. And Vinnie feels certain he’s got Roopa off his back. He’s told her she can move in if Pradeep covers her share of the rent. Pradeep will never go for it! But to Vinnie’s surprise, Pradeep later agrees to cover the rent… if Roopa gets a job.
Vinnie gets an urgent text from Roopa. She’s at the canal and in need of TLC – ten lager cans. It’s Sean who needs consoling. Brian fills Sway in. Sean can’t go to America…because of his criminal record.
Over at the canal, Sean drowns his sorrows with Vinnie and Roopa. Roopa wonders when things are going to change for them, but Vinnie says people make their own fortunes. Sean worries about what Suresh will think of him, now that he can’t go to America. Sean compares himself to Jai, who Suresh was always bailing out.
Vinnie and Roopa tell Sean he needs to let the past go and not compare himself to his father. Then Vinnie has a revelation. Sean doesn’t need America. And Vinnie can make his mark at Saffron Rays. They’ll make Silver Hill the envy of the world. And they’ll be ruling it with an iron fist!
