Have your say

Mary calls Brian to check on Sean. She has told Sean what an amazing job he’s done running the pub. Brian fears that reminding Sean how valuable he is won’t help his cause. But Mary says she wouldn’t want Sean to stay at the pub for her sake. It’s time for Mary and Sean to have a chat.

Sean reveals to Vinnie he’s planning a trip… to America. Suresh has offered to put him up and has a job lined up at a cocktail bar in New York. Sean starts in two weeks. Vinnie says not to feel bad about leaving and just enjoy it and make the most of this opportunity. Vinnie admits he’s jealous that Sean is so focused on what he wants. Now Vinnie’s determined to show what he can do at Saffron Rays, when Jodie’s not around of course!

Vinnie moans to Sean that Roopa keeps dropping hints about moving in to the flat. Vinnie asks Sean if he can take a look at one of the free rooms at the Akhtar house, just to keep his options open. They’re going fast, with the new Parkside manager snapping one up. Vinnie says it’s a good job Sean hasn’t met the new tenant yet. If he did he’d change his mind about moving away!

Roopa turns up at the pub, still desperate for work and armed with travel books for Sean. Brian’s delighted to hear about Sean’s trip to New York, but then realises there may be a problem with Sean’s plan…
